We wish to thank all our parishioners and friends of St. Athanasios for remembering our Food Pantry for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our Food Pantry helps families that have a need for assistance. It is very important that we keep our food Pantry filled at all times. Please remember the bank for the needy is at the entrance of the Community Center.

Η Εκκλησία μας παρέχει τρόφιμα σε οικογένειες που έχουν ανάγκη. Ζητούμε συσκευασμένα τρόφιμα, επί καθημερινής. Βάσεως. Το νέο ενοριακό αυτό πρόγραμμα θα συνεχίση μόνο με την βοήθεια σας. Θά θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε όλους τους δωριτές, με τα τρόφιμα για την ημέρα των Ευχαριστιών και τα Χριστούγεννα. Η γενναιοδωρία τους προς τους συνανθρώπους μας που βρίσκονται σε υλική ανάγκη είναι αποτέλεσμα της αγάπης τους προς τον Κύριο και Θεό μας.
St. Athanasios Diakonia Agape Ministry and Food Pantry were established to alleviate the physical and emotional hunger of the poor and needy in a dignified and supportive manner. The Diakonia Agape (Service of Love) program takes a comprehensive approach in providing and supporting services that eradicate not only hunger, but the structural causes of hunger and poverty.
Our program supports a network of charitable programs that provide a broad range of services for those in need, including the provision of food, clothing, shelter, and related social services.
We are working together with various locations and organizations to promote emotional and physical well-being through programs sponsored by Churches, health facilities, social service providers, soup kitchens, homeless shelters and the corporate community.
This accomplishment of distribution and assistance is afforded to the generosity of time, talent and treasures from our St. Athanasios parishioners and friends.
Let us continue to do the work of our Lord and reach out to our brothers and sisters in Christ that need our help. This is an on-going Parish Ministry. All donations can be placed in the designated box as you enter the Community Hall. All food items will assist needy families of our parish and food pantries of our neighborhood
