As spring approaches, and we enter the season of Lent, we find ourselves strengthening our faith in the Lord. It is through the practice of repentance, prayer and self-control that we are able to enter Holy Week not just as spectators but participants in the commemoration of our Lord Jesus Christ and of His Resurrection.
During this time, the PTO finds itself in a period of transition as well with the reorganization of the Executive Board. The purpose of the PTO has not changed though, and as a community of parents, we are still committed to fostering a platform of collaboration and communication, cultivating educational, cultural and religious programs, and strengthening the volunteer base of our school, church and ultimately community.
Just as Lent is a time that we prepare our spiritual selves to participate in Holy Week, so too the next few months are an opportunity for parents to come together to prepare to participate in the Spring events that PTO will sponsor in support of the Greek School and our children.
We look forward to all the preparations and hosting a memorable end of year for all the students.
