Introduction

Boys and girls between the ages of 4-7 are invited to join H.O.P.E., and ages 8-11 for J.O.Y.  These programs give the children the opportunity to learn about their faith, their church and the social world around them.  Meetings are held once a month on Fridays.

Dear Parents,

Greetings and wishes for a Happy & Healthy New Year! Thank you to everyone that has registered their child(ren) in H.O.P.E./J.O.Y. Registration is still open to whoever is interested in joining and is available via email, Facebook or by seeing one of our Coordinators.

For our December event, H.O.P.E./J.O.Y held a Christmas Party & gift exchange. The children dressed in their favorite Christmas pajamas & made Christmas cards that were sent to a young Greek Orthodox child that was recently diagnosed with a very rare form of Leukemia in Los Angeles.  Father met with the Children & discussed the true meaning of Christmas & why we celebrate.  The children enjoyed a pasta dinner & potluck and then participated in a gift exchange.

Mark your calendars! Invitations & information for our upcoming events were sent out via Sign-Up Genius and on our Facebook Page.  Please RSVP so that we may plan accordingly for the following event:

February 10th – H.O.P.E./J.O.Y will host our Valentine’s Day Party! Children will have the opportunity to decorate their own cookies, participate in Valentine’s related activities & enjoy a pizza party. Special thank you to “The Sweet Cookie Shop” for the generous donation of homemade cookies & frosting!

Please contact me at grkkukli@yahoo.com or any of our H.O.P.E/J.O.Y Coordinators with any questions you may have regarding our events for the year.
