Dear Parents,

We hope that you and your family had a wonderful summer and we want to welcome you to another exciting year of HOPE/JOY!

What is HOPE/JOY? The purpose of HOPE (Hellenic Orthodox Primary Education) and JOY (Junior Orthodox Youth) is to gather and create Orthodox Christian fellowship for children ages 4-7 (we accept children below the age of 4, but MUST be accompanied by parent) and 8-12 respectively. By making friendships early on, the children will want to come and participate later for GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) and have a greater participation in the Greek Orthodox Christian community as they grow and also make lifelong friendships.

Activities are held once a month on Fridays (usually following the conclusion of Greek Dance) and center on themes/holidays that take place in the month.Father begins the activity with a lesson for the children and prayer, followed by dinner and the activity.HOPE/JOY families must be current stewards with St. Athanasios for the 2019-2020 year & have completed registration (enclosed).

Our first activity is scheduled to take place in October.More information on our October event and Schedule of Events will be announced!

Finally, please follow us on our private Facebook page: St. Athanasios H.O.P.E/J.O.Y. for the most updated information.
